The Golden Globe Foundation today announced the election of its officers and Board of Directors for the 2023-24 year. Earl Gibson III will serve as Board Chair, Henry Arnaud as Treasurer, and Tim Kittleson as Secretary of the Foundation.
The Golden Globe Foundation was formed in 2023 following the sale of the Golden Globes to Eldridge Globes, LLC and the dissolving of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA). The foundation continues the HFPA’s philanthropic ventures and entertainment-related charity work which includes a diverse range of nonprofit organizations assisting underserved communities, universities, and colleges, film restoration projects in the United States and overseas, and programs providing aid and assistance to journalists across the globe.
“I am delighted to serve as the first Board Chair of our new Foundation and look forward to continuing the long history of philanthropy by our predecessor organization, the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, supporting the arts, education, film restoration, journalism, humanitarian projects, and other non-profit organizations dedicated to empowering underrepresented communities within the entertainment industry,” said Earl Gibson III, Board Chair of the Golden Globe Foundation. “I look forward to working with Henry Arnaud, Tim Kittleson, the other members of our Board and the members of the Foundation to continue this important work.”
