Gorgeous New Photos from ‘The Revenant’
I missed posting these earlier this week but a new batch of truly gorgeous and breathtaking photos from The Revenant popped up. Two-time Oscar winner Emmanuel Lubezki looks to be shoring up a possible third in a row (which would be an Academy record) with visuals that evoke his work in Terrence Malick’s The Tree of Life with their beauty and rawness. There is a deeply natural feel to them, most especially the landscape shots.
Also included are new looks at Leonardo DiCaprio and Tom Hardy as well as others in the cast. I’m also including the new UK teaser poster released this week. Take a look.
20th Century Fox will unveil The Revenant in limited release on Christmas Day and then wide on January 8, 2016.
