Helen Mirren and Ian McKellen weave a tangled web in first trailer for ‘The Good Liar’

Academy Award winner Helen Mirren (The Queen) pairs up with Academy Award nominee Ian McKellen (Gods and Monsters, Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring) in the new dramatic thriller The Good Liar from Warner Bros and New Line Cinema, which reveals its first trailer today.
Official synopsis:
Career con artist Roy Courtnay can hardly believe his luck when he meets well-to-do widow Betty McLeish online. As Betty opens her home and life to him, Roy is surprised to find himself caring about her, turning what should be a cut-and-dry swindle into the most treacherous tightrope walk of his life.
The Good Liar also stars Russell Tovey (TV’s Quantico) and Jim Carter (TV’s Downton Abbey).
Greg Yolen serves as producer, alongside Condon. The executive producers are Richard Brener, Andrea Johnston, Aaron L. Gilbert, Jason Cloth, Anjay Nagpal, Jack Morrissey, and Nick O’Hagan.
Bill Condon, the Academy Award-winning screenwriter of Gods and Monsters, directed and produced the film from a screenplay by Jeffrey Hatcher (Mr. Holmes), based on the widely acclaimed novel by Nicholas Searle.
Warner Bros will release The Good Liar on November 15th. Here is the first trailer.
