‘Hillbilly Elegy,’ ‘Tenet,’ ‘Emma.’ among 1st Set Decorators Society of America (SDSA) nominations

The Set Decorators Society of America has announced its first-ever nominations to celebrate the work of Set Decorators and their colleagues for Best Achievement in Film 2020 and among the nominees are Hillbilly Elegy, Promising Young Woman, Emma., Mank, The Midnight Sky and The King of Staten Island.

The categories for feature length films will not include documentaries or animated movies, and there will be a number of honorary awards announced in the future. The SDSA Awards recognize the set decorator and production designer but are unaffiliated with the Art Directors Guild (ADG).

Winners will be announced March 31. Here is the full list of nominations.
