Houston Film Critics Society (HFCS) nominations

Houston Film Critics gave The Favourite and If Beale Street Could Talk the most nominations for their annual awards, with 7 and 6, respectively. 

A Star Is Born and Vice were right behind with five apiece, including Best Picture, which is comprised of 11 titles. 

The group also includes categories like Best Poster and Worst Film of the Year as well as one for Texas Independent Film that features Support the Girls and 1985.

Winners will be announced on January 3rd. Here are their nominees.

Erik Anderson is the founder/owner and Editor-in-Chief of AwardsWatch and has always loved all things Oscar, having watched the Academy Awards since he was in single digits; making lists, rankings and predictions throughout the show.
