Amanda Seyfried is turning heads this award season. After entertaining audiences as the ditzy Karen in Mean Girls and the lovelorn Sophie in Mamma Mia! and its sequel, her spectacular performance as Marion Davies in Mank has many of award pundits singing her praises.
Seyfried talked to Dewey Singleton about working with David Fincher and his notorious multiple takes approach (“no stone unturned”), the most surreal moment of shooting Mank and how she prepared for what will now be viewed as a career changing role.
Mank is currently in select theaters and premieres globally on Netflix this Friday, December 4.
