Interview: O-T Fagbenle on playing the bad guy in ‘WeCrashed’ and the President in ‘The First Lady’ [VIDEO]

Before 2022, O-T Fagbenle was most well-known in the United States for his portrayal of Luke on The Handmaid’s Tale, a role that earned him his first Emmy nomination last year. Now, Fagbenle is everywhere, playing Cameron Lautner in Apple TV+’s WeCrashed and no less than President Barack Obama himself opposite Viola Davis in Showtime’s The First Lady.
Fagbenle is busy and isn’t stopping anytime soon. We had the chance to speak with this Fagbenle about the appeal of portraying a public figure, showing up in projects as different as Maxxx and Black Widow, and what’s next for his career.
WeCrashed is currently streaming on AppleTV+ and The First Lady is currently streaming Showtime.
