Interview: Sophie Okonedo on the thrilling process of playing Charlotte Wells and her personalities in ‘Ratched’ [VIDEO]

Playing one role in a Ryan Murphy project is challenging enough. But to take on multiple characters at the same in a part specifically written for you by the man whose name is on so many TV shows is even more impressive. But for actress Sophie Okonedo, it hardly seems like a stretch. 

For her portrayal of Charlotte Wells, a patient with multiple personality disorder on Netflix’s Ratched, Okonedo earned her first Emmy nomination, for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Drama Series. We had the chance to speak with this fantastic actress about taking on these incredible characters, working with a talented ensemble, and some of the true talent in her Emmy category.
