In Ava, two-time Academy Award nominee plays the titular role, a deadly assassin who works for a black ops organization, traveling the globe specializing in high profile hits. When a job goes dangerously wrong, as they always do, she is forced to fight for her own survival with all manner of wigs and guns at her disposal.

Joining Chastain in this action-adventure are Colin Farrell, Oscar nominee John Malkovich, Oscar winner Common, Joan Chen, Oscar winner Geena Davis, Ioan Gruffudd and Diana Silvers.

Due to his history with domestic violence and public pressure, Matthew Newton stepped down from directing the film but remains listed as its writer. Subsequently, the film’s title, which was originally Eve, was changed to Ava.

Ava is a Voltage Pictures, Vertical Entertainment and DirecTV production and directed by Tate Taylor (The Help, The Girl on the Train). There is no release date yet for the film.
