How busy has Josh Gad been this year? Never mind the fact that he’s been coaching his daughter’s volleyball team (which he describes as if Olaf from Frozen was coaching but with a ton of bribes), but he’s managed to deliver fantastic performances in three different series,’ all of which are sure to grab the attention of Emmy voters. Who could forget his work in Central Park, a show where he not only voices the narrator but produces as well. Gad delivers a haunting performance alongside Isla Fisher in Wolf Like Me. However, the one that seems to be on everyone’s mind is his guest spot on Curb Your Enthusiasm and his very stringy underwear.
Gad joined us recently to talk about his very busy year where e touched on what attracted him to sign on to Wolf Like Me and how it was such a departure from what he’s accustomed to working on. We then covered just how intricate the planning process is when mapping out a season of Central Park and the role he plays in that. Gad also talked about how working with Larry David is “a dream come true.”
Josh Gad is Emmy eligible for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series for Wolf Like Me, Outstanding Character Voice-Over for Central Park and Outstanding Guest Actor in a Comedy Series for Curb Your Enthusiasm.
