The winners of the 62nd annual Golden Reels, the Motion Picture Sound Editors (MPSE) awards, honored the year’s best work in the various areas of sound editing: Dialogue & ADR, Effects & Foley, and Music. Last year’s winners in the two major categories, Dialogue & ADR and Effects and Foley, went to Captain Phillips and Gravity, respectively. This year, Unbroken and American Sniper took those and are both also Oscar nominated in the Sound Editing category (along with Music winner, Birdman).
