Natalie Portman takes the stage in first clip of ‘Vox Lux’

In this very brief first look, Academy Award winner Natalie Portman (Black Swan) takes the stage (we only see her from the back) in Vox Lux, the second feature from actor/director Brady Corbet (The Childhood of a Leader).
The film follows Celeste (Portman) as she rises from the ashes of a major national tragedy to pop superstardom. The film spans 18 years and traces important cultural moments through her eyes, starting in 1999 and concluding in 2017.
Featuring original songs by Sia and also starring Jude Law, Stacy Martin, Jennifer Ehle and Raffey Cassidy, Vox Lux will world premiere at the Venice International Film Festival before hitting the Toronto International Film Festival. It’s produced by Bold Films and Killer Films but does not have distribution yet.
