NPR’s The Big Listen Oscar Special podcast
I recently sat down for an interview with Lauren Ober of NPR’s The Big Listen to talk about the Oscars this year, the process of predicting, why I do it (shout out to my mother!) and how I got started in this big, messy fun ride of Oscar watching.
The podcast runs about 50m. I open the show for about three minutes, am peppered throughout and then close the show. Also on this podcast you’ll also hear Karina Longworth talking about the Golden Age of Hollywood, Slate culture writer Aisha Harris (host of the show Represent) on the importance of representation of women and people of color in Hollywood and film awards, actor Paul Scheer on some of the worst movies ever made (which he talks about on his own podcast that he co-hosts with his wife, actress June Diane Raphael, and their pal and fellow actor, Jason Mantzoukas.
Please listen and enjoy!
