Olivia Colman, Emma Stone and Rachel Weisz in new trailer for ‘The Favourite’

“We are at war.”
“We won!”
“No, it is not over, we must continue.”
“Oh! Oh, I did not know that.”
So begins the darkly comic trailer for The Favourite, from director Yorgos Lanthimos and starring Olivia Colman, Emma Stone
As taking care of Queen Anne (Colman) and running a castle becomes a more and more difficult task, Lady Sarah (Weisz) brings on help in the form of the frisky and feisty Abigail (Stone) in what then turns into an All About Eve manor of manners.
The film was a massive hit at Venice and Telluride this past week and will hit the New York Film Festival (skipping Toronto) before it bows in theaters from Fox Searchlight on November 23rd.
