On December 14, 2012, in Newton, Connecticut, the deadliest mass shooting at a grade or high school took the lives of 20 children under the age of seven and six of their teachers.
From Abramorama and Kim Snyder & Maria Cuomo comes a new documentary that examines how this small community came together after the most unimaginable tragedy.

The film premiered at the 2016 Sundance Film Festival this year and also played at SXSW, BAMcinemaFest, Montclair, Nantucket and Melbourne Film Festivals. Newtown will open in select theaters on October 7th, and follow with a single nationwide screening on November 2nd via Fathom Events which will also include a live panel discussion moderated by CNN anchor Chris Cuomo.
