Producers Guild (PGA) and Screen Actors Actors Guild (SAG) Awards Television Predictions: Stop Me If You Think That You’ve Heard This One Before

It’s time for the Actor Awards, formerly known as the SAG Awards but now different and more serious!
It’s going to be the year of The Pitt at the Actor Awards, which will likely award the series for both Ensemble in a Drama and Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Drama Series for its lead, Noah Wyle. Wyle will run away with his category, with other great performances in his company but without the necessary hype to overcome The Pitt’s leading man. Without any female actors from the HBO Max drama representing, the award will likely go to Rhea Seehorn for her work in AppleTV’s Pluribus.
The comedy categories will likely be huge for The Studio, with Seth Rogen taking home the award for Performance by a Male Actor in a Comedy Series. It will likely also take the comedy ensemble category, and has real traction to possibly sneak into Comedy Female Actor and take it from Jean Smart, who has won the award three times for her performance in Hacks.
Limited Series categories will belong to Adolescence, fresh off its Emmy wins in September. Stephen Graham and Erin Doherty will likely repeat their wins in respective categories.
The Producers Guild of America will also be presenting awards this weekend in television categories, with shows like The Pitt and The Studio attempting to finish out their awards run for their first seasons. In the comedy category, South Park is nominated, an outlier amongst the other programming like The Bear and Hacks. Awards will be given out for episodic drama, episodic comedy, and producer of a limited series.
