GLAAD, the world’s largest lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) media advocacy organization, held its 32nd Annual GLAAD Media Awards on Thursday in a virtual ceremony where television shows Schitt’s Creek and Veneno were announced as winners alongside journalism, music and film accolades.
The Kristen Stewart/Mackenzie Davis lesbian Christmas romcom Happiest Season from Hulu was named Outstanding Film – Wide Release, while the Ryan Murphy remake of The Boys in the Band, starring out actors Jim Parsons, Matt Bomer and more, was Outstanding Film – Limited Release.
