Searchlight Picture announced the dates for its 2021 slate on Wednesday, including Scott Cooper’s horror creature feature Antlers starring Keri Russell and Jesse Plemons and Nightmare Alley, Guillermo del Toro’s long awaited follow up to his Oscar-winning The Shape of Water, starring Bradley Cooper, Cate Blanchett and Rooney Mara.
Searchlight, as a subsidiary to Disney, announced last week that their main Oscar push and critics’ favorite Nomadland from Chloé Zhao would premiere on Hulu February 19.
There were some notable names missing from today’s announcement including Wes Anderson’s The French Dispatch (which will likely be a Cannes premiere, although that is looking to get pushed to July) and Taika Waititi’s Next Goal Wins.
