Season 7 of Variety’s ‘Actors on Actors’ to Feature Mary J. Blige, Jake Gyllenhaal, Daniel Kaluuya, Hong Chau and more

Variety returns for the seventh season of its ‘Actors on Actors’ series, a co-production with PBS, will be presented by Google Home. Packed full of awards season hopefuls from Call Me By Your Name, Get Out, The Florida Project and Wonder Woman will engage each other in what is always a highly entertaining show. Stars from Lady Bird, The Meyerowitz Stories, The Big Sick, Downsizing and I, Tonya will be doubling up with multiple actors in conversation.

Clips from the interviews will be available on variety.com at the end of November and full episodes of the new season will air from January 2 to January 4 at 7 pm on PBS SoCal KOCE.

The episodes will also be available to stream on www.pbssocal.org. PBS stations across the country will air the show in January.

The program feature pairs of acclaimed actors chatting with each other about their lives, their craft, and their careers. This season’s pairings will include:

Sam Rockwell (Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri) with Allison Janney (I, Tonya)

Timothée Chalamet (Call Me by Your Name) with Daniel Kaluuya (Get Out)

James Franco (The Disaster Artist) with Dustin Hoffman (The Meyerowitz Stories)

Saoirse Ronan (Lady Bird) with Kristen Wiig (Downsizing, mother!)

Jessica Chastain (Molly’s Game) with Holly Hunter (The Big Sick)

Gal Gadot (Wonder Woman) with Kumail Nanjiani (The Big Sick)

Diane Kruger (In The Fade) with Hong Chau (Downsizing)

Hugh Jackman (Logan) with Willem Dafoe (The Florida Project)

Adam Sandler (The Meyerowitz Stories) with Laurie Metcalf (Lady Bird)
