Shhh…Stanley Tucci and Kiernan Shipka keep quiet in first trailer for ‘The Silence’

Part A Quiet Place, part Bird Box, The Silence – coming exclusive to Netflix on April 10th – finds the world under attack from terrifying creatures who hunt their human prey by sound, 16-year old Ally Andrews (Kiernan Shipka), who lost her hearing at 13, and her family seek refuge in a remote haven. But they discover a sinister cult who are eager to exploit Ally’s heightened senses.
The Silence is directed by John R. Leonetti (Annabelle), produced by Alexandra Michlan, Scott Lambert, and Robert Kulzer and written by Carey Van Dyke & Shane Van Dyke based on the novel by Tim Lebbon. It stars Stanley Tucci, Kiernan Shipka, Miranda Otto, John Corbett, Kate Trotter and Kyle Breitkopf.
It flies onto Netflix on Wednesday, April 10th.
