Last night, Disney dropped a 30-second snippet of the highly-anticipated next chapter in the Star Wars Story sagas, Solo, and now we have the official teaser, pics and some kick-ass throwback posters.
Solo: A Star Wars Story tells the origin of our favorite stuck-up, half-witted, scruffy-looking nerfherder in the form of Alden Ehrenreich (Hail, Caesar!) in the title role and directed by Oscar-winner Ron Howard (A Beautiful Mind). Howard took over directing duties after the abrupt firing of Phil Lord and Chris Miller (the team behind The Lego Movie and 21 Jump Street) last summer over creative differences.
Solo co-stars Donald Glover as Lando Calrissian, plus Emilia Clarke, Woody Harrelson, Paul Bettany, Thandie Newton, Warwick Davis, Clint Howard, and Joonas Suotamo returning as Chewbacca. The screenplay was written by Jon Kasdan and Lawrence Kasdan.
Solo: A Star Wars Story hyperspace jumps into theaters this summer, May 25th.
