After playing Venice, Telluride, Toronto, New York and BFI, Netflix has released the official trailer and poster for its top Oscar contender this season, Marriage Story.
The film centers on Nicole and Charlie Barber (Golden Globe nominee Scarlett Johansson and Academy Award nominee Adam Driver) as they traverse the deconstruction of their marriage and into divorce in what Academy Award-nominated writer and director Noah Baumbach calls “A love story that reveals itself within the breakdown.”
Along with Johansson and Driver, Marriage Story co-stars Academy Award nominee Laura Dern, Academy Award nominee and Emmy Award winner Alan Alda, Golden Globe nominee Ray Liotta, Julie Hagerty, Emmy Award winner Merritt Wever, Wallace Shawn and Martha Kelly.
Marriage Story will be released in select theaters beginning November 6 and then on on Netflix December 6.
