Sony moves Tarantinto’s ‘Once Upon a Time in Hollywood’ up two weeks

Sony Pictures is moving Quentin Tarantino’s ‘Once Upon a Time in Hollywood’ up two weeks to July 26, 2019 and off of the 50th anniversary of Sharon Tate’s murder.

The star-studded film, purported to be the Oscar-winning director’s penultimate film, was originally planned to be released to coincide with the anniversary of the Manson Family murders on August 9, 1969. The film will now go up against the latest in the Fast and Furious franchise next summer.

Principal photography is still underway on the feature, which stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Brad Pitt, Al Pacino, Dakota Fanning, Timothy Olyphant, Kurt Russell, Burt Reynolds, Damien Lewis (as Steve McQueen), Tim Roth, Clifton Collins Jr, Luke Perry and Margot Robbie as Sharon Tate.
