St. Louis Film Critics Association (StLFCA) winners: ‘A Star Is Born,’ ‘BlacKkKlansman, ‘ROMA’

A Star Is Born

Bradley Cooper’s A Star Is Born is the choice by St. Louis Film Critics as the best film of 2018. The film didn’t manage any other wins but Lady Gaga did manage a runner-up mention for Best Actress where Toni Collette (Hereditary) won. 

Spike Lee’s BlacKkKlansman was the top winner with three wins, including Best Director and Best Adapted Screenplay as well as two runner-up statuses including Best Film. 

Richard E. Grant (Can You Ever Forgive Me?) and Regina King (If Beale Street Could Talk) continued their dominance of the supporting categories and well as Spider-Man Into the Spider-Verse and Won’t You Be My Neighbor? have in Animated and Documentary, respectively.
