TCA 2014 Awards: Double Wins for Veep and True Detective, Breaking Bad and Orange is the New Black Win Top Awards

Thanks to an accidentally leaked piece from Variety, the 2014 winners of the Television Critics Association have been revealed, with Breaking Bad winning Program of the Year for the 2nd year in a row and Orange is the New Black taking New Program. Veep was a double winner in Comedy Series (in a tie with Louie) and Individual Performance (Comedy) for star Julia Louis-Dreyfus. True Detective was also a double winner, in Miniseries and Individual Performance (Drama) for Matthew McConaughey. Not terribly surprising any but two surprise wins came in the form of The Good Wife‘s triumph in Best Drama Program and RuPaul’s Drag Race in Reality.
