The DUNKIRK Trailer, and yes, Harry Styles is in it
Just days after the release of its poster (below), Warner Bros. has given us the first trailer for Christopher Nolan’s attempt at the Oscar with DUNKIRK.
The trailer, as it is, feels like any number of war films and Nolan definitely seems to be striving for the legitimacy of the Academy Awards that Steven Spielberg hunted for before coming out with Schindler’s List and Saving Private Ryan. It’s inevitable that Dunkirk will be compared to directly to Spielberg’s Oscar-winning war epic. For some people (i.e. half of Twitter) what they really want to know is OMG IS HARRY STYLES IN AND HOW IS HE OMG.
For some people (i.e. half of Twitter) what they really want to know is OMG IS HARRY STYLES IN AND HOW IS HE OMG. I can report that yes, he is in it, three times in fact. The cast also features Oscar-winner Mark Rylance, Oscar nominee Tom Hardy, Oscar nominee Kenneth Branaugh and Cillian Murphy.
Warner Bros. plans to release Dunkirk next summer, July 27th. Here are the trailer and poster.
