The group also had a case of ‘Burning’ love, which earned three wins

The Favourite, from Yorgos Lanthimos, has been named the Best Picture of 2018 by INOCA, the AwardsWatch forum community awards that are voted on by forum members. The film was the nomination leader with 12 mentions, ultimately winning Best Actress (against her co-star and co-nominee Emma Stone), Ensemble, Original Screenplay and Costume Design along with its top prize, making it the field best winner of the day with five.

Next up was Lee Chang-dong’s Burning, a triple winner with prizes for Supporting Actor (Steven Yeun), Adapted Screenplay and Non-English Language Film. Roma earned two wins (Best Director, Alfonso Cuarón and Best Sound Mixing) from eight nominations.

The techs spread the wealth where every category went to a different film, finding love for A Quiet Place, Paddington 2, Ready Player One and The Other Side of the Wind, among others.
