The first season of Queer Eye, the reboot of the hit Queer Eye for the Straight Guy from the early 2000s, was a global phenomenon. Not content with waiting another full year of episodes, the show launched its second season just in time for Pride Month.
The Fab Five: Antoni Porowski (Food & Wine), Bobby Berk (Interior Design), Karamo Brown (Culture), Jonathan Van Ness (Grooming) and Tan France (Fashion) are all back and back in the Georgia heartland, forging connections with communities from a wide array of backgrounds and beliefs often contrary to their own, touching on everything from self-love and faith, to immigration and how to make the perfect homemade poke bowls and for the first time, they’re doing a lady (that shortened name makes even more sense now). Through their trip they’ll be taming beards, building a church community center and featuring the show’s first trans male makeover. No word yet on updated guacamole recipes though.
Original Queer Eye for the Straight Guy creator David Collins (Scout Productions) serves as executive producer for Queer Eye, along with producing partners Michael Williams and Rob Eric. David Eilenberg, Adam Sher, Jennifer Lane and Jordana Hochman also serve as executive producers in association with ITV Entertainment.
Queer Eye Season 2 launches exclusively on Netflix June 15, 2018. Here is the trailer.
