Black and white and red all over. That’s the first look at Quentin Tarantino’s newest film, The Hateful Eight, which drops a pretty bad-ass teaser today.
Running one minute and forty-seven seconds and without a single frame of film, it introduces us to the ‘Eight’ via title cards: Major Marquis Warren: “The Bounty Hunter,” John Ruth: “The Hangman,” Daisy Domergue: “The Prisoner,” Chris Mannix: “The Sheriff,” Bob: “The Mexican,” Oswald Mobray: “The Little Man,” Joe Gage: “The Cow Puncher, ” and General Sandy Smithers: “The Confederate.” The song is The Stooges’ “Gimmie Danger.”
The Hateful Eight star Samuel L. Jackson, Kurt Russell, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Walton Goggins, Bruce Dern, Tim Roth, Demian Bichir, Michael Madsen and Channing Tatum and will be released by The Weinstein Company on Christmas Day.
