The trailer for one of the most anticipated films of the fall and one of this year’s potentially major Oscar players lands today.
Jeff Nichols’ Loving tells the true story of Richard and Mildred Loving, the interracial couple who’s U.S. Supreme Court case (Loving v. Virginia) changed the landscape of the right to marry forever. Ruth Negga (Preacher) stars as Mildred and Joel Edgerton (The Great Gatsby) stars as Richard. The film was written and directed by Jeff Nichols (Midnight Special, Take Shelter) and co-stars Nick Kroll and Michael Shannon.
The 2016 Cannes Film Festival entry will be released by Focus Features (The Theory of Everything, Brokeback Mountain, Dallas Buyers Club) on November 4th.
