Amazon Studios has released the first trailer and poster for the highly-anticipated Being the Ricardos, starring Academy Award winners Nicole Kidman and Javier Bardem as the legendary Hollywood producing couple Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz.

In Being the Ricardos, Lucy and Desi are threatened by shocking personal accusations, a political smear and cultural taboos in Academy Award-winning writer and director Aaron Sorkin’s behind-the-scenes drama. A revealing glimpse of the couple’s complex romantic and professional relationship, the film takes audiences into the writers’ room, onto the soundstage and behind closed doors with Ball and Arnaz during one critical production week of their groundbreaking sitcom “I Love Lucy.”

Being the Ricardos also stars Jake Lacy, Academy Award winner J.K. Simmons, Nina Arianda, Emmy Award winner Tony Hale, and Alia Shawkat. Amazon Studios will release the film in select theaters on December 10 and on Prime Video December 21.
