Trailer: They’re kooky, they’re spooky, they’re POLTERGAYS

Just in time for Halloween, Dekkoo Films will exclusively release the queer horror/comedy POLTERGAYS from Lonely Spectre Productions, and the mind of writer and producer Brendan Haley. Bringing this satirical haunting to life is director and cinematographer Andrew J. Ceperley, and executive producers Brian Sokel and Derek Curl.

When bible humpers Perry and Tiff Myers (Peter Stickles, Clarke Wolfe) endeavor to out their friendly gay roommates, Tanner and Derek (Charles Chudabala, Francisco Chacin), as malevolent specters from the hellish great beyond, it is Perry and Tiff that might just be revealed as hauntingly homophobic instead.

Poltergays lampoons the outlandish claims that homophobic culture has been known to place upon the queer community, labling gays as demons or unholy, and uses those ideas within a horror movie setting to point out such absurdity and ignorance.

Brendan Haley is a producer and screenwriter known for his work on the Emmy Award-Winning Netflix series, EastSiders, and as showrunner for the popular horror radio anthology, It Listens from the Radio. Brendan has also served as associate producer on Dekkoo’s A Halloween Trick, and several collaborations with June Gloom Productions.

Andrew J. Ceperley is an award-winning director and cinematographer known for his work on Netflix’s Narcos, and the Dekkoo hit original series I’m Fine. He has shot and edited on Dekkoo’s A Halloween Trick, and June Gloom’s The Office is Mine, and Unusual Attachment.
