TRAILER: Two new trailers and poster for ‘A Most Violent Year’
A24 has dropped a new trailer for the much-anticipated J.C. Chandor film A Most Violent Year, starring Jessica Chastain and Oscar Isaac.
The film, which takes place in 1981 New York City and is notorious for being the year for which the film takes its name, follows Abel and Anna Morales (Isaac and Chastain) as they attempt to capitalize on the American Dream even as the rampant violence, decay and corruption of the day threaten to destroy all they have built. It will open the upcoming AFI Film Festival this Thursday, November 6 before opening in NY and LA on December 31st, then expanding nationwide in January 2015. Check out two trailers and the poster below.
