It was a huge trailer drop this morning for a host of upcoming summer and fall films starring Oscar winning superstars like Emma Stone, Nicole Kidman, Kathy Bates, George Clooney and Brad Pitt, an animated sequel to an Oscar-nominated hit, a Cannes-winning comedic trip of triptychs and a tale of two crime fixers who might just end up fixing each other.

In Netflix’s A Family Affair, a surprising romance kicks off comic consequences for a young woman, her mother and her movie star boss as they face the complications of love, sex, and identity. Directed by Richard Lagravenese from a screenplay by Carrie Solomon, the film stars Academy Award winner Nicole Kidman, Zac Efron, Joey King and Academy Award winner Kathy Bates. Releasing globally on Netflix June 28, 2024.

Walt Disney’s Moana 2 reunites Moana and Maui three years later for an expansive new voyage alongside a crew of unlikely seafarers. After receiving an unexpected call from her wayfinding ancestors, Moana must journey to the far seas of Oceania and into dangerous, long-lost waters for an adventure unlike anything she’s ever faced. Directed by David Derrick Jr., Jason Hand and Dana Ledoux Miller, and stars Auli‘i Cravalho and Dwayne Johnson. Featuring music by Grammy winners Abigail Barlow and Emily Bear, Grammy nominee Opetaia Foaʻi, and three-time Grammy winner Mark Mancina. In theaters November 27, 2024.

Among his many achieved goals with AwardsWatch, he has given a platform to underrepresented writers and critics and supplied them with access to film festivals and the industry and calls the Bay Area his home where he lives with his husband and son.
