The Emmy-winning Transparent has released a teaser trailer for its second season and with it a date change and announcement of guest cast additions.

Previously, the Amazon Original was to be released on December 4th but is now pushed back to December 11th. In addition to previously announced guest stars like Caitlyn Jenner and Tig Notaro, it was revealed that Tony-winning actress Cherry Jones and Oscar-winning actress Anjelica Huston will appear in the show’s sophomore season.

Transparent creator Jill Soloway had this to say about season 2:

[box type=”shadow” align=”alignleft” class=”” width=””]“Season two is wild! Now that the bubble wrap is off, it’s time for the whole family to transition. Our Pfeffermans realize they must give up their disguises, unspoken arrangements and secrets. By exploring their shared history and legacy, they come to understand that you can’t go forward without knowing where you come from. Ultimately, everyone will open their hearts, advertise their desires, and test those notoriously wobbly boundaries as each Pfefferman tries their hardest to come out — as themselves.”[/box]

Even before its 2nd season premieres, the show has already been renewed for season 3.

Here’s the ‘Wedding Photo’ teaser:
