We’re less than a month away from the April 22nd premiere of the second season of the wildly successful HBO sci-fi drama Westworld from Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy and now we have the first trailer.
Cunningly utilizing Nirvana’s “Heart Shaped Box” (arranged by show composer Ramin Djawadi, the trailer brings us back to the impending robot uprising with Emmy nominees Evan Rachel Wood (Dolores) and Thandie Newton (Maeve) leading the rebellion.
The second season will also show us Shogun World (which we saw a glimpse of in the first season finale) where we’ll find a wealth of new characters including Oscar nominee Rinko Kikuchi (Babel), Betty Gabriel (Out) and Jonathan Tucker (Kingdom) joining series regulars Ed Harris, Tessa Thompson, Jeffrey Wright, James Marsden, Shannon Woodward and Anthony Hopkins.
