Women Film Critics Circle (WFCC) Winners: ‘Hamnet,’ ‘If I Had Legs I’d Kick You’ Lead

The Women Film Critics Circle (WFCC) have revealed their winners for the best in film and television for 2025.
For this year, If I Had Legs I’d Kick You and Hamnet were the top winners. Hacks was chosen as Best TV Series.
The WFCC film categories are women-focused (Best Movie About Women, Best Movie by a Woman) but also include categories for Best Actor and ‘Equality of the Sexes.’ Other specialized categories include the Karen Morely Award – For best exemplifying a woman’s place in history or society, and a courageous search for identity. That went to Eleanor the Great. The Josephine Baker Award – For best expressing the woman of color experience in America went to Sinners and the Adrienne Shelly Award – For a film that most passionately opposes violence against women went to Sorry, Baby.
