2017 Oscar Predictions: ALL CATEGORIES (January 1)

It’s getting close, only three weeks until Oscar nominations for the 89th Academy Awards are announced. We will have just one more official predictions list, in about two weeks. But this is where the state of the race is on the first day of the new year, before the Golden Globe Awards and before the majority of industry guilds, including the Producers Guild and Directors Guild, announce their nominees. Those guilds can change everything we thought we knew as they sometimes do.
Here are the 2017 Oscar predictions in 21 categories from the Gold Rush Gang for January 1st. To follow the predictions as they are updated live start here.
