Gone Girl Gets Its First Trailer and Poster
Gone Girl, the upcoming Oscar hopeful by David Fincher (The Social Network) that was featured here recently in our Contender or Pretender series, stars two-time Oscar winner Ben Affleck (Argo, Good Will Hunting) and Rosamund Pike, and gets its first trailer and poster today. The story, based on the novel by Gillian Flynn (and adapted by her) follows Nick Dunne (Affleck), whose wife (Pike) goes missing on their fifth wedding anniversary. Gone Girl opens nationwide October 3rd.
