27th Satellite Awards winners: ‘Top Gun: Maverick,’ ‘Babylon,’ ‘Barry,’ ‘Better Call Saul’
Top Gun: Maverick was named Best Motion Picture – Drama by the International Press Academy at their annual Satellite Awards ceremony, held on March 3, 2023 in Beverly Hills, CA. The film had a field-best 10 nominations from the group.
Next was Everything Everywhere All At Once with four wins, including Best Motion Picture – Comedy or Musical, Babylon with three and Women Talking with two.
In television the only double winner was Barry, with Musical or Comedy Series and Bill Hader for Best Actor in a Comedy or Musical Series.
Special or honorary awards went to Diane Warren, Martin McDonagh and the film RRR, among others.
