Clint Eastwood’s ‘Jersey Boys’ Gets a Trailer
Oscar hopeful Jersey Boys from director Clint Eastwood gets it first trailer and boy is it bland. Getting the jump on the James Brown biopic, Jersey Boys opens June 14th.
Based on the Tony-winning Broadway musical of the same name, the story chronicles the creation of The Four Seasons and the unusual sound of Frankie Valli. The film employs characters talking directly to the camera instead of voiceover but it might not have been the best idea. It seems to be trying to exist somewhere between Goodfellas and Dreamgirls.
