The awards timeline was announced today for the 23rd CDGA (Costume Designers Guild Awards). Produced by JumpLine, the 23rd CDGA celebrates excellence in film, television, and short-form costume design, and will take place on Tuesday, April 13, 2021. Nominations will be announced on March 4, 2021. This year’s CDGA will be a hybrid live & streaming event.
The CDG includes more than 1,200 costume designers and illustrators working in motion pictures, television, commercials, music videos, and new media programs throughout the world. Submissions, nomination, and final ballot voting will be conducted online. Details will be emailed to all eligible voting CDG members. Forms, rules, and guidelines will be posted on the CDG website as available.

Monday, November 2, 2020: 23rd CDGA submissions open online at 6:00 a.m. PST. Submissions accessible via CDG website.
Monday, January 4, 2021: Submission entries close at 5:00 p.m. PST
Wednesday, February 10, 2021: Nomination ballot voting opens online at 6:00 a.m. PST
Wednesday, February 24, 2021: Nomination ballots voting closes at 5:00 p.m. PST
Thursday, March 4, 2021: Official announcement of 23rd CDGA nominees to the press
Wednesday, March 17, 2021: Final ballot voting opens online at 6:00 a.m. PST
Monday, March 29, 2021: Final ballot voting closes at 5:00 p.m. PST
