George Clooney understands the gravity of a post-apocalyptic Earth in ‘The Midnight Sky’ (trailer)

When Earth becomes a post-apocalyptic world, scientist Augustine Lofthouse (Oscar winner George Clooney) as he races to stop Sully (Felicity Jones) and her fellow astronauts aboard the NASA spaceship Aether from returning home to a mysterious global catastrophe that is wiping out the planet.
David Oyelowo, Tiffany Boone, Kyle Chandler and Demián Bichir co-star with Clooney at the helm of the film, an adaptation of Lily Brooks-Dalton’s novel “Good Morning, Midnight,” and written by Mark L. Smith (The Revenant).
The Midnight Sky lands exclusively on Netflix December 23. Here is the trailer and poster.
