Interview: Tomer Capone on Having Fun with Frenchie, Getting to Dance, and Missing Herogasm in Season 3 of ‘The Boys’ [VIDEO]
Frenchie has become one of the most endearing characters among the sprawling ensemble of The Boys, someone who truly believes in what he’s doing and who is loyal to his closest friends. But he’s also had a rough go of it in season three, being tormented by Little Nina and, worst of all, missing Herogasm. To balance it all out, he got to be part of a musical sequence that’s very much unlike anything that’s been seen before on this superhero show.
I spoke with actor Tomer Capone about the joy of playing Frenchie and how he hurt his back – not filming an action sequence, but while doing that very memorable dance. He also spoke about the ambitious nature of many of the show’s scenes and memorable interactions with fans throughout the course of the show’s first three seasons.
The Boys is available to stream on Prime Video. Capone is Emmy-eligible in Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series.
