Lady Gaga has announced her return to Las Vegas.
On Monday, the 35-year-old pop star shared on Twitter that she’d perform a series of shows at Park MGM in Sin City in October.
The residency, called “Jazz & Piano,” will take place from Oct. 14 – 31. Gaga will perform a series of nine shows throughout the period and tickets go on sale beginning Saturday, August 28 at 10 p.m. PT.
“Jazz & Piano” will come not long after Gaga releases her second jazz album with music legend Tony Bennett on Oct. 1. The album, “Love For Sale” is a tribute album to Cole Porter and include some of his widely-known standards like “I Get A Kick Out Of You.”
“Love For Sale” is Bennett’s 61st studio album and is said to be his final. At 95, Bennett took the stage with Gaga for a pair of concerts at Radio City Music Hall in New York earlier this month – the performances are also said to be Bennett’s final on-stage performances.
“Jazz & Piano” will be Gaga’s second residency in Vegas after “Enigma,” which ran from December 28, 2018 – May 16, 2020. The singer’s A Star is Born co-star Bradley Cooper famously appeared for a performance of the Oscar-winning song “Shallow” in early 2019.
Several dates during the “Enigma” residency were also dedicated to jazz performances alongside Bennett.
Gaga has been a fixture of the pop music world for over a decade now, known for hits like “Poker Face,” “Born This Way” and “Perfect Illusion.”
Having bagged 12 Grammy Awards, she won an Oscar in 2019 for co-writing “Shallow” for A Star is Born. She was also nominated for her performance as aspiring pop star Ally in the film, and in 2016 for co-writing the song “Til It Happens to You” for the documentary The Hunting Ground with songwriting legend Diane Warren.
The singer-actress also recently made headlines when the trailer for House of Gucci dropped, featuring her in a starring role as Patrizia Reggiani, the wife of Maurizio Gucci, grandson of fashion icon Guccio Gucci.
The film will chronicle the growing conflict between the two that led to Reggiani’s hiring of a hitman to take out her husband and is set for release by MGM/UA on November 24.
Gaga became an immediate awards favorite for her transformative performance upon the trailer’s release and currently sits at number two on AwardsWatch’s predictions for the Best Actress Oscar when the awards are given out in 2022.
