The five songs nominated for the Original Song Oscar range from quiet melodies of yearning to rousing anthems of confidence and hope. There are first time nominees (Sufjan Stevens, Mary J. Blige), previous Oscar winners (Benj Pasek & Justin Paul and Kirsten Anderson-Lopez & Robert Lopez) and one of the most-nominated in this category without a win (Diane Warren).

Kaela Settle has been confirmed to perform “This Is Me” at the Academy Awards. Stay tuned as more confirmations of performances come in. Until then, enjoy the five nominees for Best Original Song. What’s your favorite?
