Searchlight Pictures has released a new trailer and poster for Chloé Zhao’s award-winning film Nomadland, starring two-time Academy Award winner Frances McDormand.
Following the economic collapse of a company town in rural Nevada, Fern (McDormand) packs her van and sets off on the road exploring a life outside of conventional society as a modern-day nomad. The third feature film from director Chloé Zhao, Nomadland features real nomads Linda May, Swankie and Bob Wells as Fern’s mentors and comrades in her exploration through the vast landscape of the American West.
Nomadland is currently lead the critics’ awards for 2020 and is also Golden Globe, Screen Actors Guild and Critics’ Choice-nominated with Zhao the overwhelming critics’ favorite in director.
The film will be in theaters and on Hulu February 19, 2021. Here is the new trailer and the new 50-state poster.
