There’s no denying that Howard Hamlin, a partner at law firm HHM on Better Call Saul, is a sharp dresser, and actor Patrick Fabian appreciated his uniform – though he didn’t get to keep any of the suits. Over the course of six seasons of Better Call Saul, Howard has been a consistent presence in the legal world, interacting with Jimmy (Bob Odenkirk) and Kim (Rhea Seehorn) and becoming the target of their latest outrageous scheme.
We had the chance to speak with Howard about that jaw-dropper of a finale (which you need to have seen before watching this interview) and what it’s been like to play Howard all these years. We also talked about the absolutely terrific Michael McKean and the mark he left as Chuck, and other recollections from a spectacular run on an excellent series.
Better Call Saul is available to watch on AMC, and returns for its final slate of episodes on Monday, July 11.
Patrick Fabian is Emmy eligible for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series for Better Call Saul.
